Our cats often realize they have forgotten that all-important appointment to pee on something -- and they make up for it in quantity and variety of locations... Somehow we love them anyway, and I believe that they hypnotize us into it.

Laundromats are sad, sad places.

I know what you mean about missing your yard. Our previous place had a tiny but lovely yard just outside my studio window. I looked at it all day, and I miss it horribly. Our current yard is bigger, but nearly half of it is occupied by The Slab That Will Never Be Built Upon, so I get sad when I go out there. I do hug our pear tree, though, and she gives us sweet, juicy fruit.

The yard in the first place you owned was adorable. There's a nice park at this apartment but it's too hot to enjoy it right now.

As for cat pee, if there were vinyl floors, it'd be less trouble. But Tin Tin is an inveterate waterer.

There's one tree that used to be here in my neighbourhood...and I miss that tree. Never hugged it...but I did plant it.

No room for laundry facilities in your place?

There's washer and dryer connections, but no money for a washer and/or dryer. Later this year for a washer, I hope.
