divalea: (hurt comics)
DC/Zuda, innovators of webcomics and "industry standard" page formats, were in force at NRACA Con in Sandy Eggo. They were handing out cards on which persons could draw and send them in to DC/Zuda Doo-Dah to be reproduced at the Zuda site.

Apparently, some people are posting their card art to the web, and my fave so far is this one by a promising young man named Scott Kurtz.
Mark my words, he'll go far, especially with this attitude:

I bet he'll have his own comic book, and an iphone, and be a guest at all the best shows, and maybe an animated series!

P.S.: Hope you don't mind me knicking the image for the ha-ha, Scott!

Toshiba nows supports Vista for my computer! YAYES!
Too bad I can find my damn disc!

I suppose I needed to empty my closet, anyway. Maybe.

I FOUND MY VISTA UPGRADE DISC! YAYAYAYAY!

In the course of finding my Vista upgrade disc, I took everything out of my closet to check all the boxes within. It was also as good a time as any to pull out the rolling kitchen cart I'd stuffed in the closet in anticipation of a table that I've decided I don't want.
The cart is out, there's room in the closet now for tools and storage boxes, there's room on the cart for the small convection oven for curing clay. It will all be good.
I'm going to sort this over the next few days. As I looked at the mess pictured below, I knew that unless I wanted to be until 6AM, I would have to parcel it out.

As always, cleaning up makes a mess. But my closet will be so much easier to use and find things in, and that's happy-making.

Here's a sort of taste of the disaster. It doesn't truly begin to capture the scope. On the extreme upper left corner is half of my awesome witch hat from the Deathly Hallows release party.

Oh yeah: the disc wasn't in this closet. It was in the bedroom closet. I forgot I put it there when I cleaned out my dresser. D'oh.
