You know, I don't like writing con reports. I feel like I can never do the experience justice, and sometimes I'm not 100% sure of events after. I do know I like reading other people's con reports, and I always look for my name. You do, too.
So, I'm going to give people the con report they want. Right. Picture links, then name-checking.

Live Art Show and CAPE! photos.
Happy Prickle Peeps, yo!

Now, let's me clear, here: I stink at remembering names. I really do. I'm getting better at it, I'm working on it, but I do. So, if I refer to you by the person dear or near to you, it means nothing except I stink at names, and you are wonderful and derserve to have your name remembered, and you will post in the comments and help me out, here.

[livejournal.com profile] txtriffidranch was once again my booth bunny! He brought beautiful carnivores that really dressed up the table, and totally went with the Prickles. He totally rocked the carnivore demos he gave. Kids came back over and over to visit. He was, as always, a huge help.

[livejournal.com profile] czarina69 helped me sew Prickles from 4:30 or so until 6:30, to meet the pre-paid demand. We sewed more at hers and [livejournal.com profile] txtriffidranch's place before Summer and I went to dinner. I'd have never finished what I needed to without her.

My brother, Virgil, came by with a cactus and a Lady Banks rose from the Heard Plant Sale. He also brought some cut flowers from his garden. My mom honked and waved from her truck. HI MOM!

Rachel Dukes was my next-door-table! Rachel was one of last years' Grant NAN winners! She is awesome, and her pal Mike Lopez, was too!

Hi Julie and Mr. Julie and Stefan and Ms. Stefan! It is always a pleasure seeing your faces.

Richard Neal was barely smilin' due to stress, but I got to see that adorable grin when I brought him a signed Bride of CAPE! shirt.

[livejournal.com profile] amboy00 nearly hugged the stuffin' out of me. I liked that. I love you, too!

Sean Jackson was Mr. Above and Beyond! He took Summer to a local GameStop to get a DS charger. He'd have paid for it, too! SEAN, YOU ROCK!

Scott Kurtz and Kris Straub and Dave Kellett were just exactly the right amount of fun at dinner Saturday night. (And I got to see Angela, too! YAY!) We passed around pens and Moleskines and crack the Cute Code for Mr. Jinx babies. A couple times, I thought I was going to hurt myself laughing. I did get to a coughing fit.
Thanks, guys, for letting me squeeze in at your table, and thanks Scott for letting me pick your brains.

[Unknown site tag] was her usual sweet self. She's the person who said I needed to be invited the first time. I forget her husband's name. I steenk. But he is awesome.

Everyone at brunch Sunday morning, and at my table. Because I suck, I can only remember the names of Lisa, Summer, Kate and Jennie. Jennie the Dallas cop told us Cop Secrets. I can't tell you, but they are good. (The rest of you, it is not your fault I can't remember your names. I suck at names.)

[livejournal.com profile] ringwoodcomics better have gone home for a nap. YOU HEAR ME, MISTER.

Bazzer had an awesome new-to-me DA and pompador 'do.

Saw Ian Shaunessy at brunch. Still cute.
Saw Roberto Aguirre-Sacase multiple times. He is such a sweetie.
Saw Gail Simone and her husband Scott. Nice to get a chance to thank her in person for her help.

Met a number of YABsers, including Bert and MattDocMartin. (MDM is the guy who went after Rick Olney.)

Met Tom (Honor Brigade) Stillwell. I got all teary when I hugged him. He has been a huge help since the fire.

The Live Art Show was frikken' awesome. Summer and I had fun rockin' the easels with [livejournal.com profile] bluecanarykit (another Grant NAN winner!), Larry Dixon, James O'Barr, Dave Crossland, Mahfood, and David Mack. When we left, Food One had just started a set, and it was great.

Paul and Caroline had two friends stop by. Since I stink with names, I only know them as the Funny Magician Guy and the Hearse Limo Guy. P & C have the COOLEST friends.

I got to talk for a while with Dylan Edwards, who makes (www.feepingcreatures.com). He gave me a new Feep to replace a Feep lost in the fire. I bought two more. Summer bought at least three. We talked about polymer clay. I gave him my love letter to Kato Polyclay, and a length of the soft rubbery tubing I use for necklaces. He had beautiful necklaces, but he and I both know the same thing: most cording is painfully expensive.

I got to see the Korns, daughter and father at the LAS, and hang in the periphery of Crossland, Food, Lee, Park and Mack. Dayum.

Vittoria, CAPE! volunteer, bought her a Prickle! So did Kurtz, for Angela, but I forgot to get a picture.

Jake Ekiss, our behind-us-neighbor is editing an anthology of Texas-only artists called Synesthetic. (http://groups.myspace.com/synestheticanthology) We mutually agreed we were awesome to share space with, and have spoiled each other.

If I think of more later, I will post. If I didn't mention you, it is entirely my fault, and you have to comment and tell people how awesome you are.
