Life 2.0, or Day 28
Oct. 5th, 2006 12:37 amThe locks are finally re-keyed. Boy in had a major crying meltdown at school, but did addition! Girl is drawing a lot, a very cute monkey character. King is next to me in bed, bitching about the light from my tablet.
I have just had a good soaking in a bath scented and softened by
spiderfarmer's amazing Soapy Hollow bath cube. I had Shiraz while I soaked and read "Polymer Clay Traditions" by Judy Belcher. I am still having Shiraz, if only I had
leasmom's friend Judy to split it with.
The evening was sitting on the garage floor, the big door open for air (it is nice in the evenings now), cleaning salvaged tools and supplies one by one. The tears have been coming off and on all day, but that's just the way it is. Anything with a wood handle had to be tossed--even after cleaning, they stank. The tools I made using Katherine Dewey's "Sculpting Life-Like Figures in Polymer Clay" are on probation. They smell okay right after cleaning, then begin to stink again when dry. I hate to make then again, but I may have no choice.
I also consolidated boxes and cardboard and generally got the center of the garage clear.
King unclogged the tub! John Wilson, email me what you'd charge for that, because the realtor is SO getting a bill.
The Shiraz has got me. More tomorrow. Hugs and love to all.
