Summer’s School: a HA! and a GRRR!

Soon-to-be-ex-King, annoyed by my insistence that Summer would be tested for the missed first half of the year, looked up testing for placement online. I was, not necessarily “of course”, right.

The district does Credit-By-Exam, “recovery or validation” testing. That’s the HA!

The GRRR! is that the counselor never mentioned this. This is very typical. Maybe she will in the meeting in an hour. Regardless, I have printed out the relevant document to share in case. In case, like the person at the desk who said we couldn’t enroll Summer, they don’t know they can test her, or they think we don’t know.

Triumph always seems to come with, “You fuckers, why didn’t you tell me this?!” This stuff makes me make the angry Muppet face, which I couldn’t find online right now.
