Zero Kitten: Well, Now

Zero's a Rex mix. No, not a CHEX mix. Devon Rex.  I noticed these racing stripes of hair down her back about ten days ago, Before that, weird spots on her neck that looked like she'd been thoroughly slobbered on. I kept looking, and noticed her coat had lumps, that it never laid down.
I looked up Rexes. Sure enough, Zero has a Rex coat. Here's a grown Rex:.




Beats the eff out of me how such an unusual cat ended up in a mix. (A lot of Rexes are sold spayed or neutered, or with agreements to have it done.)
Zero is an awfully cute cat, and definitely has decided Herself owns the house and all the toilet paper in it. It's good to have her.

Bear with me, all. I am still kind of smacked around by the anniversary. Trying to dig out the last of the receipts for insurance, as tomorrow is the last day to send things in. I just kind of want to say, "fuck it," but any money's good money.

PayPal is stupid right now. After a week of steady abuse from a buyer, the decided he should get a refund. Of course, we'll see if he returns the stuff he seems to have angling to get for nothing.

Maybe I'll feel better once it's the 7th and the receipt anniversary is over. I'm so fucking tired of it all.

PANEL AND PIXEL: Lettering Boot Camp!

 Here's the first two lettering jobs I took to the woodshed. See how the first looks 200% better without changing the art, but lettering and format:

As proof that most of the time a decent font is transparent, and doesn't have to be fancy to convey mood, emotion, or character, I'm relettering most of these in the same font.
