MONDAY!

Boy is back in school! It seemed like an unusually long winter break this time, even though it was still the usual two weeks. This morning, King was laying across the bed, having gotten up, moved about, then fallen over again. From his position of sideways on the bed, he said, more or less, "I need a vacation from Boy's holiday."

I was the one at home with Boy. Clearly, King had committed an LJ-worthy offense.

King would be in more trouble for saying that except that he broke a tooth. Um, ten days ago. He didn't tell me until last night, probably figuring he'd get a ration of shit, and he is right.
I have had the load of Ration of Shit from SayWhat Worldwide delivered and am shoveling hard in his direction. There's a joke about the good news eternal punishment being ankle-deep in shit, the bad new being it's headfirst.
That's my sweetie, headfirst to his ankles for NOT TELLING ME HIS DAMN TOOTH BROKE.
He's got an intake appointment for a couple weeks from now.

Thanks for all the great comments about the Boy and Fox art. I am working on a kid's book in that style, yes. Yes, I will have it agented. ^_-
