Three Views of Ow
Oct. 7th, 2007 09:34 pmSee on the left? The fallen down part laying down on the ground and against the tree? That's what I knocked down. By myself with the sledge and an ax!

Here's another view. It was awesome. Big CRASH KABOOM. I pranced around in the dark, laughing.

Here's yet another view. See that stud that appears to be just exactly to the right of that second window? That's the one that fell on me. I actually got hit by two nails! I thought the one nail had bounced and scratched me again. Nope! Two nails!

The wreckage n the near foreground is now on our curb for pick up. When King was trying to knock the lumber away from the window there, he had Sumer holding it. Not only was Summer not holding it right, King didn't check her grip. He hit the stud, the window flew out of Summer's hands and the corner caught her in the foot and tore a hole in her brand new pair of socks. She walked away, furious. I know the look that was on her face. I have it when I work with King, too. Sorry, King.
When King was carrying some of the studs out to the curb, he tripped and sprained his ankle.
I am glad boy was in the corner of the yard playing with the hose, or we'd be four for four, I'm sure.
Yes, I am going in for a shot tomorrow.
