divalea: (can't sleep moon will eat me)
Let's talk about dreaming and waking. Recently, I have been having a high incidence of waking with a start, hitting as I woke up, waking up yelling, and the latest delightful variation: I woke up crying.
Funny thing about upsetting dreams; if you tell them to someone, what they're about become crystal clear. I knew when I woke up what my dream was about. I took so long to quit crying, King kept asking me if I was actually awake. It was unsettling in itself to wake up in such a profound state of grief.
I know what the dream was about, and the crying, and there's no reason to share. The issue will solve itself in a week or two.

ALL PLAY: who's woken up badly or strangely? In a weird spot? Screaming? Crying? Laughing? Or in a hotel and couldn't remember what the fuck town? Funny stories welcome, absolutely and of COURSE.
I'm also interested in words from anyone who has a diagnosed sleep disturbance they'd like to talk about.
