In the interest of being truthful about discomfort, I think this part of the community statement is excellent, "This community is a positive one, where people can share ideas on how to increase the activity of women and minorities in the comic book industry." I just wish Lisa at Neptune (neptunecomics.com), who started P.O.W.E.R., had stopped before she got to "rather than just complain about how it hasn't happened yet."
Think think Lisa's confusing kicking over rocks with doing nothing but kvetch. I gotta call 'em like I see 'em.
I'm in, though. I hope this, like Girl-Wonder.com and The Ormes Society (theormessociety.com) develops into something. Another voice in the chorus is always a good thing.
