ATF: The Foundation of My Problem
Jan. 8th, 2007 09:14 pmBriefly: the sewage plumbing was a mess. An epic mess. All of it's been replaced. Of course, better now than when we're back in.
But, over the course of dealing with Du-West, because of the discovery of the plumbing problems, we saw that a hydrostatic test had been performed on the house on a day...no one had the keys. No one was let in that day. That day was five days before anyone had access.
I finally got the nice lady at Du-West to agree, for reasons different than mine, that there was no evidence of a test. The lack of a marked clean-out was the big killer. So, we get that money back.
To balance things, my neighbor has a criminally cute dog, and that dog likes me, and I would so be one of those women who carried their damn dog everywhere in a bag if that dog was mine.
