Nothin' But za GOOD NEWS
Jul. 5th, 2006 06:27 pmBoy was sitting at King's computer yesterday, admiring a Google page that displayed the covers for The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest VHS tapes. He was so pleased, I should have realized...but no.
Today, I sit at King's computer and notice the Google search box in the browser has "jonnyqoestjonnyqoest" in it, and I begin to understand.
"Boy!" I say, "Spell "Jonny Quest."
"J...O...N...N...Y...Q.....U...E...ST. Jonny Quest!"
I did not teach him this. King did not teach him this. HE TAUGHT HIMSELF THIS. He'd looked up "Jonny Quest" all on his own on Google. I told King about it, and he'd thought I'd put "Jonny Quest" in Google.
Nope, Boy did it himself. I am so excited.
We also found out that the Grottoes charity will cover boy's extensive dental work and attendant outpatient surgery. I am so happy, so relieved, I keep puddling up every time I think about it.
