Here's my first piece (the black and white one on the right) at the Saturday night art jam at the Metro:

See the necklace she's wearing? That's a real piece, entitled "Mina", in silver and stones by czarina69, over which I wibbled a GREAT deal before buying it for myself. (I couldn't buy it until I was ready to wear it rather than hide behind it.)

Drink it in. Ronee Garcia-Bourgeois got it for a steal at $50., by telling Scott Hinze she was leaving. Scott figures the money she saved could go into the FoL Empowerment Fund. Word.

I did another painting later, in pastel, and insisted that this time hair-pulling for the win was le must. When I left, the starting bid was $100., more in line for a large-scale piece, which sale was to recoup the costs of Richard Neal's hosting of CAPE!

It's funny that it's taken me, or will take me, all week to report on CAPE! Five days or so to describe the concentrated goodness of a CAPE! weekend...yeah, that's about right.

I think it's only appropriate, considering the number of wonderful men (which is not to say they were not also many wonderful women) who helped unfurl CAPE!, to present, as a palate cleanser, scarletdemon's Feng Shui of the Penis!

What? You don't think penii are a palate cleanser? sclerotic_rings would beg to differ. I'd venture he's convinced many callers to his job feel cleansing is a 24/7 sort of activity, based on his stories over the weekend.

I Pwn the Home Network

FUCK Linksys' shitty and conflicting instructions for installing their PCI Network cards! CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE TEH NETWERK MY ASSSSSSS.

You got Win XP? Uninstall your old card's software. Power down and unplug your tower. Open tower. Pop out old card. Put in Linksys card. Power up again. Follow XP prompts for auto installation, using the disc that came with the card.
NOTE: These are not at ALL like the directions that came with the card. They are a LOT like the directions that are online, which are ENTIRELY unlike the directions that come with the card.

CAPE! What I Did with ALL THAT MUNNEH

I made pretty good money at CAPE! Easy money. It all rolled straight to me.

The dryer died a horrible, smelly motor-death while I was away. The replacement cost was almost exactly what I earned.
